Joe's WineStation

The WineStaion is what really separates Joe's Wine Cellar from other wine and liquor stores. This state of the art tasting station from Napa Technology is made in America and gives our customers a chance to try a taste, half glass or full glass of up to 16 different wines featured each week.

How does it work?  Just purchase a SmartCard in the amount you want and use it like a debit card. Then, insert it into the slot and put your glass under the wine you'd like to try. Push the button for either a taste (most run from $1.50 to $3.00), a half glass ($3 to $6), or a full glass ($6 to $14, with many in the $6 to $8 range).

The wines are kept at a constant refrigerated temperature for that varietal and are preserved against oxidation by removing the air and replacing it with argon, a harmless, inert gas. 

Our four unit WineStation was a major investment, but it allows customers to "try before they buy", as well as meet friends at the store to sit and enjoy a couple of glasses to "unwind with their new find" after work.  Some of our customers "meet at Joe's" before heading out to their favorite BYOB restaurant to sample and decide which wines they want to take to the restaurant that evening.
